I managed to get my lazy butt moving to make some progress on the site. Covered quite a few things today/tonight into the current wee hours:

• figured that I could create my own landing page here, than to pay $48/year (though on a 50% discount) for more than 3 cards on tap.bio or having more than 1 account made accessible using the Gold plan; since I have finished the free 1-mth trial
• all this from googling around and found a solution that I could try fixing for myself since I already have this platform; just a matter of getting around to doing something about it
• learnt about useful plugins like the UpdraftPlus and WP Content Copy Protection, and disabling hotlisting from domain cPanel
• discovered that hotlisting has to be enabled before being able to add any more images to the site during the creation of pages (interesting discovery, since I’d thought that the images just had a problem showing up although they have been uploaded to the server without a problem)
• updated the Portfolio page after I recalled 2 events from 2018 that I did with AST, and added a tiny image icon as separator

Though I won’t launch the site as yet, I’m quite happy that I’m getting somewhere with it. It’ll probably take me longer than I think it to be, considering I want to try so many things to make this site work, and it has to be all DIY-ed. Initially, I was rather overwhelmed by the long list of functions on the WP cPanel but I think I’m somehow getting the hang of it, understanding how this works (from creating pages to tagging it, etc).

Always learning something new.
