Be present. To push through the dark moments. To seek the inner self in the silence and solitude. In trying times, there can be new learning sought in spite of the unfamiliar normalcy brought to us. Explore. Re-learn. Become stronger. We can.

Streets of Hope is the first and (possibly) the largest presentation of homegrown artists, lining the Civic District and beyond with their artworks to lift the spirits of Singaporeans as the nation gets through an unprecedented time together.

Over 150 artists submitted original artworks that span mediums and styles, from Chinese calligraphy to digital print, batik to performance art, revealing the breadth of art in Singapore.

Many of these artists have presented in Gillman Barracks over the years, as Singapore’s premier visual arts precinct that showcases visual arts from Singapore and Southeast Asia.

Learn more about each artist and see the artworks in full in the online galleryor download the map to see the location of the works and plan a walking art tour through the streets of Singapore.
